2013 Honda Civic to get to Indian Shores
The 2013 Honda Civic model in Asia was first launched in Thailand last month. This is the 9th generation Honda Civic and has a very futuristic design, global. This, coupled with the fact that Honda had not made any major changes
The wheel also has a set of exchange controls. Thailand's version, the new Civic also features satellite navigation, rear camera, start-stop button and a new option in ECO mode for greater efficiency. However, it is unlikely that all these features will be available on the Indian version of the Honda Civic.
The bumper has also been poked and prodded to instill a few design tweaks. The interiors seem to have been changed as much as the exterior. The center console appears to have been moved slightly closer to the driver's side for easy accessibility and the wheel has had a redesign in its basic structure.
Thailand's version comes in two options, the 1.8-liter i-VTEC and 2.0-liter i-VTEC. The 1.8-liter engine is capable of producing 141ps and 174 Nm of torque. The 2.0-liter engine offers 155PS and 190 Nm of torque. Although Thailand's Civic version does not include a diesel option, the Indian version can be expected to have a diesel variant. It is also likely that only the petrol version of 1.8 liters and will be launched in India. Now let's play the waiting game to see what Honda will launch the 2013 Honda Civic in India.
